Keishel A. Williams successfully graduated with Honors from Medgar Evers College with a Bachelor’s Degree in English (concentration in Professional Writing). For the past eight years she has been working in the media, specializing in Fashion and Entertainment. Although her focal point remains in writing, her professional experience also spans the areas of media and public relations, content development, television production and hosting, as well as event development and management. She is an innovative, independent, well-rounded and passionate writer who works well with people from diverse backgrounds. She also has excellent influencing, interpersonal and communication skills as well as a proclivity for hard work and details, which has been noted by clients and colleagues alike.
Williams has a deep rooted interest in women’s rights and gender equality in addition to children’s education, with a particular focus on nurturing through creative studies and career choices. She has been invited as a speaker at several schools in Brooklyn, New York and is soon expected to take on national and international platforms. Her recent pride and joy is spear heading the Bring Back Our Girls Brooklyn campaign as support for the female Nigerian students who have been kidnapped from their school for seeking an education.
With a penchant for knowledge, Williams loves traveling and working both nationally and internationally, learning from and absorbing different cultures as part of her creative process. The young entrepreneur has a sharp acumen for business and negotiations in the creative sector, and a very deep love for art and literature; a combination that has been years in the making.
